Awarded documentary and press photographer, multimedia journalist and participatory art facilitator based in London, UK. Sabrina's work focuses on communities and individuals to address vital human and nature rights from a socio-cultural and political perspective.
I started taking photographs as an underground music and art fan when I was 15. Then, after a university research career, I became a street photographer. After a PhD in China Cultural Studies and a specialization in International Cooperation to Development, I was awarded the University of Bolton-BFSLU joint MA in International Multimedia Journalism (U.K./China, 2017).

Main Awards:
In 2012 I was the first foreigner to win the Creative Commons Focus on China Award with Roads. In 2014 my photo essay All China's Fast Food Dreams earned a 3rd award and one honourable mention for photojournalism at Mobile Photo Awards and was featured on Lens Culture.
In 2015 the conceptual series on post-modern Non-Places was a finalist at SIPA-Siena International Photo Awards 2015. In 2016 I was a finalist at the Fotoleggendo Festival (Rome) with My Blue Days with F. In 2018, I was among the finalists at the Marilyn Stafford FotoReportage Award 2018. Portfolio Special Mention at 2020 Urbanautica Institute Award.
